Talk about saving the best for last! FINAL PROPOSAL is the perfect blend of emotions and passion and left me swooning, laughing, and sometimes tearing up. I have to say that Ms. Bromberg left it all on the page with this book.
A freak storm causes Ford Sharpe and Ellery Sinclair to cross paths, which sets the ball rolling on what turns out to be an amazing romance. Ford and Ellery have similar experiences growing up, but while Ford’s inspire him to strive for what he witnessed, Ellery takes the opposite path and chooses to close herself off from love. But the right person and the right moment can weak that resolve, which is what happens to Ellery.
The chemistry between Ford and Ellery is insane but what really captured me is the ease of their relationship, how Ford instinctively reads Ellery and knows when to push and when to give her space to sort herself out.
The relationship between the brothers is also a major highlight of this story. Ford really is the sensitive brother and the backbone of the trio, thoughtful and sweet, and I loved that his brothers moved mountains to give him peace of mind when he needed it.
This is an amazing story and is definitely one of my top 5 books of 2022!
