First loves deserve a second chance in an all-new small town, billionaire romance by New York Times bestselling author, K. Bromberg.
The requirement is ridiculous but simple. Spend two months in Cedar Falls and play the mayor’s games to ensure that The Retreat, Sharpe International’s newest resort, can open.
But I have a history with this small, Montana town. One I’d tried to forget but never could. Asher Wells. My Lavender Girl.
She’d had dreams and aspirations to leave Cedar Falls and make her mark on the world. So why is she still here, standing in front of me? And more importantly, why is she looking at me with hurt in her eyes when I was the one who‘d been forced to leave or else face the damning consequences of that night?
I have everything in life: money, success, an empire to run . . . everything except for one, very important thing. Her.
Fifteen years is a long time to wonder. . . what if. I’ll be damned if I leave town this time without her.

Review
I have been on a binge of every second chance romance I can lay my hands on and ON ONE CONDITION is one of the most enjoyable ones I’ve read so far this year.
Despite the trappings of wealth, Ledger Sharpe is hardworking and driven, especially since the events of fifteen years ago that shaped him into the goal-oriented man he is. After so much time has passed, returning to the scene of such a pivotal event in his life is a lot; coupled with the fact that the one person who broke his heart still has that much power over him.
Asher Wells is a very stubborn woman who has remained in Cedar Falls and is determined to thrive there despite the judgement she has faced from the townspeople every day of her life. But Ledger’s return makes it harder for her to hold on to her resolve, since their past gets unearthed.
I think that angsty romance can be very enjoyable if done right and Ms. Bromberg knocked it out of the ballpark with this story. The angst, the drama, the emotional rollercoasters, the painful memories, the lies that shaped Asher and Ledger’s lives for a decade and a half all add up to a very moving story that will make you swoon and cry and laugh as Asher and Ledger rekindle the banked flames of passion between them.
