From the author of Fly with Me and the Capital Confessions Novels comes the newest in the sexy Wild Aces Romance series.

Eric Jansen—call sign Thor—loves nothing more than pushing his F-16 to the limit. Returning home to South Carolina after a tragic loss, he hopes to fix the mistake he made long ago, when he chose the Air Force over his fiancée.

Becca Madison isn’t quick to welcome Thor back. She can’t forget how he shattered her heart. But Thor won’t give up once he’s set his sights on what he wants—and he wants Becca.

Thor shows Becca that he’s no longer the impulsive boy he used to be, and Becca finds herself irresistibly drawn to him. But will Thor be able to walk away from his dream of flying the F-16 for their love or does his heart belong to the sky?

Review

Once again, Ms. Cleeton has given us another beautiful and sweet story with emotional depth and minimal drama. INTO THE BLUE is a really delightful second chance romance and Eric and Becca will have readers smiling and falling in love with them in no time.

Is love always enough? Well, for Eric Jansen and Becca Madison it wasn’t and ten years ago, in spite of how much they loved each other, they couldn’t make things work between them and they both choose their separate paths. But the connection between them can’t be extinguished because after all that time apart, all it takes is one meeting and it feels like they were never apart.

Still reeling from the loss of his friend and struggling to get through each day, Eric realizes he needs to take a breather from the job he loves and reassess his life. His biggest regret? Walking away from what he had with Becca and losing her friendship, and the only thing that matters is getting her back. But with his job in Oklahoma and Becca settled in North Carolina, how can they make things work and avoid the mistakes of the past?

Becca fought hard to put her life together after Eric left and has achieved the goals she set for herself but having him back threatens her emotional balance and even if she can forgive him, what happens when his time is up and he has to return to work?

I loved the previous book so much but Eric and Becca have their own spot in my heart. Eric is such a sweetheart and a really good man and it doesn’t hurt that he loves Becca so much that the time that had passed since their split felt nonexistent.  A man who can own up to make poor choices and give everything to win his girl back is golden in my opinion. And Becca was just as adorable. I loved that she was smart and independent, that she focused on achieving her goals in the time they were apart and wasn’t just going to give up everything she had worked so hard for to play second fiddle for a man.

I love how they dealt with their issues in a very mature manner and I can’t stop loving the fact that there was no drama. Their bond was very familiar, new but yet old, one they could count on. I love that Ms. Cleeton consistently gives us heroes that are good and emotionally mature men and strong, independent and capable women and sweet stories that put a smile on a reader’s face.

I can’t wait for Easy’s story and the sneak peek at the end of this book only make the wait unbearable.

About Chanel Cleeton

Originally a Florida girl, CHANEL CLEETON moved to London where she received a bachelor’s degree from Richmond, The American International University in London and a master’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Chanel fell in love with London and planned to stay there forever, until fate intervened on a Caribbean cruise and a fighter pilot with smooth dance moves swept her off her feet. Now, a happily ever after later, Chanel is living her next adventure.

Law school made Chanel realize she’d rather spend her days writing sexy stories than in a courtroom, and she hasn’t looked back since. An avid reader and hopeless romantic, she’s happiest curled up with a book. She has a weakness for handbags, her three pups, and her husband.

Chanel writes contemporary romances. She is published by Harlequin HQN, Penguin/InterMix, and Penguin/Berkley and is the author of the International School, Capital Confessions, and Wild Aces series.
