Love is a wild ride.

After enduring months of torture at the hands of the Black Jacks MC, and betrayed by his own club, Holt “T-Rex” Savage, a junior member of the Sinner’s Tribe Motorcycle Club, will stop at nothing to get revenge. But falling for a beautiful woman with dangerous ties to his sworn enemy was never part of the plan…

Raised by the Black Jacks, Naiya Kelly grew up fast, furiously, and with little to lose. But now that she’s put her MC days behind her, she is free to do what she wants—until she meets a man who imprisons her, body and soul. She swore she’d never give her heart to a biker, but Holt is the most passionate, protective man she’s ever known. But will Holt be forced to betray his one true love to exact his revenge?

Review

CHAOS BOUND is a departure from the usual when it comes to this series, but that makes it the best so far, in my opinion. Holt and Naiya are the living example of endurance, bravery and pure strength because their past did not destroy them, but instead made them stronger.

After spending three months being tortured by a rival MC, Holt “T-Rex” Savage has given up hope that he will be rescued by his brothers and the only thing that sustains him is the thirst for revenge against both his captors and the brothers who left him to rot in hell. But help comes in the form of a slip of a woman with a very big brain.

Naiya Kelly grew up in the Black Jacks MC, not by choice and made her escape at fifteen but not before she was violated and scarred by their president, Viper. It’s been a long time since she left but her mother’s funeral brought her back and she knows that this time she won’t be able to escape Viper and his fixation on her, unless she can get help from someone bigger and badder than him, someone willing to take him on and she finds that in the most unlikely place: Viper’s dungeon.

Escaping Viper does not mean that they are out of danger and Naiya knows that Holt is her only chance of staying safe, out of Viper’s clutches and getting vengeance on him, and she will do whatever it takes, even if it means saving Holt from himself. For Holt, Niaya was a lifeline at a point when he had nothing but a hunger for revenge keeping him alive and he plans to keep her safe no matter the cost.

It’s easy to see how that experience would harden a man like Holt and make him into who he had become, but Naiya’s sass, sweetness and smarts were enough to captivate him and bring out some of the old Holt. She had overcome her own pain at Viper’s hands and come out stronger. Their experiences forged an unbreakable bond between them, a bond that would grow into more. But as much as he wants her, will Holt have anything left to give her once he’s gotten his revenge?

Holt and Naiya fit perfectly and I loved the connection between them and how very protective of Naiya Holt was, all growly and dangerous, ready to rain hell on anyone who looked at her sideways. I also loved that Naiya was brave and resourceful and willing to do what it took to protect Holt, even approaching the Sinners all by herself.

I also enjoyed the dynamics between Holt and his friend, Tank and the Sinners. The bonds of friendship and brotherhood and how Holt’s experience strained and reshaped them. This was a very intense, raw and beautiful story of pain, love and friendship and the best I have read from Ms. Castille.
