Review

What happens when the good girl out to have some fun gets tangled up with the fun-loving bad boy who is looking to settle down? A little bit of drama, some fireworks and a whole lot of sexy times!

Casey Tanner has been a good girl all her life, living by the rules and her lists. She took on the responsibility for her younger sister when they lost their parents at a very young age and now that she’s settled down, Casey has plans to cut loose and enjoy her independence, starting with a very naughty Christmas list and sexy firefighter Abe Cameron is just the man to give her what she needs.

Abe Cameron is a serial monogamist who has never had a problem getting any woman he wants and he enjoys his reputation as a good-time guy, with the nickname to go along with it. However a recent health scare has him rethinking his devotion to his bachelorhood and Casey Tanner is just the woman he wants more with. Unfortunately for Abe, while Casey is willing to tear up the sheets with him, she’s very clear on her lack of interest in a more permanent relationship and he’s got his work cut for him convincing her that more with him is exactly what she needs.

I have a couple of books from this series but never got round to reading them, but I have to say that I really enjoyed Casey and Abe. I found myself smiling and chuckling through most of the book at the banter between them, the cute moments and even Casey’s interactions with the other ladies.

Casey was easy to love and her struggle to let go and fit in was easy to relate to. She has always thrived on order and letting go of the self-imposed restrictions was not so easy for her, but I liked that she made the effort. I feel like she was punishing herself for her past mistakes by keeping to the fringes of the group, but I was glad that the ladies welcomed her into the group.

Abe was quite the hunky fireman. I loved that he brought out the playful side of Casey and helped her relax a bit. One of my favorite things about this book was the age of the characters, which gave them a bit of maturity, in my opinion that is!

EVERY LITTLE KISS was a fun and entertaining read even though it touched upon some hot button issues. I liked that the story did not go the predictable route of having Casey change her mind about her decision to not have kids. I enjoyed the easy and enjoyable writing style of Ms. Amos and will definitely read more from her.
