Review
One year ago, romance author Jessie Jameson spent the hottest night of her life with a guy who turned out to be the CEO of her publishing company, a night that ended with him bailing on her without a word and has served as inspiration for her books. Now they are both back at the scene of the crime, as it were and Jessie is determine to keep her distanced from him this time around.
Grayson Reynolds has big plans for his publishing company and the romance division is in the way of achieving those plans. His deal to sell the division hinges on getting his star author to agree to her contract being sold to another publisher and Grayson is back in Vegas to secure her cooperation. The chemistry between them is something he does not plan for.
This was absolutely fun to read. The characters were really interesting and the story, while short was very enjoyable. Jessie is larger than life, strong, funny, smart and feisty and Grayson is driven and cold when in comes to business but quite a stick in the mud personally. I liked that while he is sexy and smart, in his personal life he is quite boring and getting involved with Jessie is what makes him learn to take chances. Grayson’s disdain of the romance genre is a tongue in cheek case of art imitating life and an apt depiction of the opinions held by many about the genre.
TAMED BY THE OUTLAW is entertaining, sweet and sexy, with very great chemistry between the characters and very amusing dialogue. Ms. Sharp is a new author to me but I really enjoyed her writing and I look forward to more from her.
