Club Sin comes alive once again in this decadent new romance from USA Today bestselling author Stacey Kennedy, perfect for fans of Fifty Shades of Grey.
A dedicated cop, Sawyer Quinn blows off steam by immersing himself in his role as a Master at the hottest club in Las Vegas. But when Sawyer goes after the perp who brutally beat his sister, he teams up with Chloe Nash, a sexy private investigator who awakens a sweet new need: to keep her to himself, away from the dungeon of Club Sin. Chloe is beautiful, smart, and too innocent for the BDSM lifestyle. Sawyer’s never wanted a woman like this before. Is her love worth swearing off the one thing that keeps him sane?
There’s something different about Sawyer: a commanding strength that pulls Chloe into a vortex of heady desire. But when she learns about his double life as a Dom, she’s shocked—and afraid she could never complete him. Then he saves her life, and just like that, Chloe knows she will be able to give him anything he desires. She is his—wherever and however he wants to take her.
When circumstances throw Chloe Nash and Sawyer Quinn together, the heat that has been on low simmer between them bursts into a big flame. Chloe is certainly not anything like Sawyer’s usual. For someone in the P.I. business, Chloe is fresh and innocent and very appealing to Sawyer and Sawyer wants to keep that innocence all to himself. But will the one thing that attracts Sawyer to Chloe the most be the one thing that keeps them apart? How can Sawyer reconcile that need with his lifestyle as a Master at Club Sin?
COMMANDED takes us in a whole new direction as we explore the complications that arise when a Dom falls for a woman with submissive tendencies but with no interest in the BDSM lifestyle and how they navigate those complications in an entertaining and erotic read.
I love the Masters of Club Sin and have certain expectations of them but COMMANDED shows us a different side to Sawyer: possessive but not overly so, tender, protective and charming and I love the fact that he respected Chloe’s professional abilities and did not try to control her. Chloe is confident and good at what she does and thankfully not jaded by the things she sees in her work and while she is the most unlikely match for Sawyer, they fit like two pieces of a whole.
I was quite surprised at the twist in the story but I like that Ms. Kennedy introduced something different to the series and I look forward to seeing how these two parts of Sawyer meld in future books. I don’t think the twist with his sister was needed because Sawyer and Chloe were enough to keep me entertained.
With this new installment, Stacey Kennedy keeps it interesting and shows why her Club Sin series is so highly anticipated.
